Longkou Nanshan LNG project with a total investment of 35 billion yuan is located in Longkou port area of Yantai city. The first phase of the project mainly includes 6 LNG storage tanks, each with a net capacity of 220,000 m3, one 80,000-266,000 m3 LNG ship loading and unloading berth (with the function of loading 10,000-180,000 m3 LNG) and related supporting facilities for loading and unloading, gasification and export. The maximum annual LNG processing capacity of the first phase is 5 million tons, and it is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2023. The project will spare no effort in promoting standardization, modularization and informatization, and strive to build a smart LNG terminal with "full digital transfer, full intelligent operation and full life cycle management". In the future, the project plans to build 20 LNG storage tanks (each with a net capacity of 220,000 m3) with an annual LNG processing capacity of 20 million tons. The project is the first major new-built energy infrastructure project managed by the Pipe China after its establishment.

In the first bid package, our company mainly undertook the pile foundation construction tasks of T-0201 and T-0202 storage tanks, including vibro-replacement stone column and cast-in-place pile. The project started on April 15, 2020 and had been completed on November 8, 2020. The main work scope is as follows: 3497 vibro-replacement stone columns with a diameter of 1 meter and pile length of 8 meters, and the theoretical consumption of stone is about 22,000 m3; 720 cast-in-place piles, 1.5 m in diameter and 20-40 m long (including 1 m above the surface), concrete strength of C40 and impervious grade of P8, the pile end entering into moderately weathered rock stratum is not less than 3 meters, a theoretical consumption of concrete is about 41,000 m3, each pile top is reserved with 10 anti-vibration isolation pad installation holes, with a depth of 0.9 m, and a diameter of 80 mm. In this project, the cast-in-place piles were constructed after the construction of vibro-replacement stone columns. The cast-in-place piles were drilled by rotary drilling with a 10 m long casing, which was placed by vibratory hammer. The qualified rate of pile foundation test was 100%, 720 piles were tested by low strain test, 72 piles were tested by acoustic detection, and the proportion of class I piles was 99.3%. The limit value of vertical bearing capacity of single pile was 20,000 KN, and all 8 piles met the design requirements.
Since the commencement of the project, with the strong support of our company and the joint efforts of all the staff of the project department, we had successfully completed the node objectives required by the contract with quality and quantity guaranteed, successfully completed all the construction tasks of T-0201 and T-0202 tanks in the first bid package, and won the high recognition and praise from the general contractor, the owner and the supervisor. Our company had been rated as "advanced company of quality management" and "advanced company of HSE management". Many people had won the honorary certificates of "excellent project manager", "advanced individual of HSE management" and "advanced individual of quality management".
