The project is located in Xilingol League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, entrusted by Jingneng Xilingol Energy Co., Ltd, our company is responsible for the pile foundation construction of this project. The main work content is the construction of bored piles and pre-stressed concrete pipe piles.
The project started on September 17, 2020 and completed on October 16, 2022. The ring foundation of the indirect cooling tower is bored piles with a diameter of 800 mm and the number of piles is about 1,200; except for the ring foundation of the intercooling tower, the piles are pre-stressed concrete pipe piles with a length of 20 m to 28 m and a total of about 4,300.
After the construction was completed, the third-party testing company conducted low strain testing, high strain testing, compressive static load testing and horizontal static load testing. About 1,800 piles were tested with low strain, 580 piles were tested with high strain, and the pass rate was 100%; more than 20 piles were tested with compressive static load, and more than 20 piles were tested with horizontal static load, and the pass rate was 100%.
During the construction period, we received great support and help from the owner, supervisor, designer and testing department, and received good comments.
