This project is located in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, entrusted by Ascend Performance Materials（Lianyungang) Co., Ltd, our company is responsible for the pile foundation construction of this project.
The project is divided into trial piles part and engineering piles part. The construction of trial piles started on July 26, 2022, with a total construction period of 5 days, completing 6 trial pre-stressed high-strength concrete pipe piles of PHC-600-AB-130 and 6 trial pre-stressed high-strength concrete pipe piles of PHC-500-AB-125. The trial pile testing includes single pile vertical compressive static load test of 6 piles and single pile horizontal static load test of 6 piles.
The construction of engineering piles started on August 11, 2022, with a construction period of 90 days, completing more than 400 pre-stressed high-strength concrete pipe piles of PHC-600-AB-130, more than 1,300 pre-stressed high-strength concrete pipe piles of PHC-500-AB-125 and more than 380 pre-stressed high-strength concrete pipe piles of PHA-500-AB-125.
The project site was sunken and muddy, and the piling rig could not move normally. Through active communication, measures were taken to ensure normal construction and meet the schedule requirements. In addition, since there are a lot of elevations in a single area, and the area division is not obvious, the project staff made significant markings in the form of area division on CAD, and issued to the site technicians and piling team to do double checking, and measured each pile one by one.
After the construction was completed, the third-party testing company conducted tests on the pile foundations, including high strain of 108 piles, the test results all met the design requirements; low strain of 645 piles, all met the design requirements. The quality, safety and schedule management during the construction of the project were unanimously praised by the technical and management groups.
