Chaozhou Huaying LNG Receiving Station Project, with a construction scale of 6 million tons/year, is located in Dacheng Bay, Rao Ping County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, and is a key project in the 13th Five-Year Plan for natural gas development of the country and Guangdong Province. 463.135 mu of land is acquired for phase I of the terminal, and three LNG storage tanks (3 x 200000 m3 full capacity tanks) and process units are planned to be built. After completion, the LNG will be gasified and transported to Rao Ping Gate Station through high pressure natural gas transmission pipeline, which will be connected with Chaozhou natural gas high pressure pipeline network (Chaozhou Natural Gas One Network Project) and Guangdong pipeline network. The annual output value of the project will reach RMB 13 billion after the first phase of operation, which will not only solve thousands of local jobs and more than one billion yuan of tax revenue, but also drive the development and construction of natural gas cogeneration projects, natural gas distributed energy projects and cold energy utilization projects, promote the economic development of the former Central Revolutionary Base Area counties, provide clean energy for Guangdong East and the surrounding areas, and help the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area construction.
Our company mainly undertakes the pile and column construction task of three LNG storage tanks (T-6201, T-6202 and T-6203 storage tanks) in the first phase of the project, which started on March 21, 2021, and finished on June 4. The main work content is: 1,128 cast-in-place piles with pile diameters of 1.4m and 1.3m, pile concrete strength is C40, impermeability grade is P10, the amount of concrete is about 99,000 m³, the amount of steel is 7,617 ton, the above-ground part of the column height is 1.2m ~ 1.5m, 6 vibration isolation pad installation holes were reserved on each pile top. The pile foundation testing pass rate is 100%, 1,128 piles were tested with low strain and 120 piles were tested with acoustic, the vertical bearing capacity limit of single pile with diameter of 1.4m is 16,000kN, and the vertical bearing capacity limit of single pile with diameter of 1.3m is 15,000kn. All 18 tested piles meet the design requirements.
This project is a large LNG storage tank project in 2021, although affected by the epidemic at the beginning of the year and problems in raw material supply, from the aspects of project preparation, project epidemic prevention, personnel preparation, equipment organization and management, research and procurement of raw materials, quality control, safety control and logistics control, our company comprehensively, strictly, scientifically managed and carefully organized the implementation, so as to ensure the efficient, high-quality and safe completion of pile foundation construction of the project. During the construction period, there was no safety and quality accident, the construction task was completed successfully, the safety and quality management objectives were achieved, and it was unanimously recognized by the general contractor, the supervisor and the owner. The owner and the general contractor jointly awarded the honorary titles of "Excellent Contractor", "Advanced Quality Management Organization" and "Excellent HSE Management Team" to our company.
