Ashdod Port Terminal and Breakwater Project is located in Ashdod City, 30km south of Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, invested and constructed by Israel Port Development and Assets Company, and our company is responsible for the construction of the pile foundation of the front track beam of Q27 terminal.
This project is the first project undertaken by our company in Israel, the scope of contracting includes borehole formation, installation of reinforcement cage, installation of sound pipe and concrete mat, concrete pouring, pile head chiseling, pile foundation testing, data submission and other work. During the construction of this project, the construction quality was strictly controlled. 726 bored piles were completed, including 223 φ1200mm bored piles, 446 φ1100mm bored piles and 57 φ800mm bored piles. The passing rate of pile foundation testing is 100%, and the acoustic testing is all Class I piles, and the single pile bearing capacity meets the design requirements.
The quality, safety and schedule management during the construction of this project were well received by the owner and the supervisor, and enabled our company to successfully undertake the construction of Q21 bored piles, laying a good foundation for further development of the Israeli market.
