8/20/2021 10:21:33 AM

The project is located in the east side of Jiaozi Mountain, Quanzhou Economic Development Zone, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, on the shore section of Yangyu, and is invested and constructed by Fujian Zhongran Meizhou Bay Energy Co., Ltd.

The test pile project includes a total of 106 holes for detailed survey, 72 general boreholes with a total length of 2,094.2 linear meters, 34 control boreholes with a total length of 776.4 linear meters; construction of 3 PHC-500AB pipe piles with design pile lengths of 15m, 29m and 23m; 6 impact bored piles (1000mm in diameter), of which 3 are designed to be 35m long and the other 3 are designed to be 21m long.

The work scope includes sampling and inspection of rock samples for low temperature tank area and public works area; construction and procurement of PHC-500AB pipe piles for spherical tank area and public works; pile position surveying and setting out, hole forming, reinforcement cage fabrication and installation, commercial concrete procurement and transportation, concrete pouring, residue removal and transportation, pile foundation inspection, etc. of bored cast-in-place pile foundation engineering of low-temperature storage tank. The project was started on January 5, 2021, and all construction tasks were completed by March 25, 2021. The pile foundation testing pass rate is 100%, low strain testing and acoustic testing show that all piles are Class I piles, and the single pile bearing capacity meets the design requirements, which all meet the requirements of the contract agreement. The quality, safety and progress management during the construction of this project were well received by the owner, supervisor and general contractor.
